Temple of Yoga Limited (‘Temple of Yoga’) Terms and Conditions – November 2024

About Us

Temple of Yoga is a small business with a big heart. We aim to share the practice of yoga for the benefit of our valued clients and give back to charitable causes.

We are here to serve the local community and our Terms and Conditions reflect the fact that we are a small enterprise with a social conscience and only limited resources.

Practice of the yamas (ethical principles) is important to us. These Terms and Conditions seek to incorporate the principles of satya (truthfulness), asteya (non-stealing) and aparigraha (non-greed). We respectfully ask that our valued clients bear the practice of these in mind before making requests of us that are not commensurate with these Terms and Conditions, and/or our position as a small business aiming to give back to the community.

About these Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions form the basis of the contractual relationship between Temple of Yoga and our valued clients.

These Terms and Conditions are incorporated into the agreement and/or registration form between Temple of Yoga and our valued clients when they become a member, sign up for a class pass and/or book a class with us.

These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time, and we encourage our valued clients to regularly review them here, mindful that they may change.

These Terms and Conditions are binding on our valued clients and should be read alongside any website usage terms and/or privacy policy published by us.

Refunds

Sales of memberships, class passes and drop-ins are strictly non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Class passes

10-class passes must be used within 12 weeks and 4-class passes must be used within 4 weeks. Class passes cannot be extended.

Cancellations

Classes may be cancelled more than 4 hours before class without deduction of a class pass or drop-in credit. Classes cancelled 4 hours before class or less will be charged.

Memberships

We ask all members to sign up for a minimum of 3 months to experience the benefit of a regular yoga practice. Our valued members may cancel after 3 months without charge. An administrative fee of £25 for membership cancellations requested within 3 months will be charged.

Monthly memberships may be cancelled 7 days prior to the member’s next payment date after the initial 3 month-period or paused for one month with 7 days’ notice.

Timeliness

Please be on your mat ready to start class at the start of class. Kindly arrive 10 minutes early to check in, get settled and take a few deep breaths. We know that life gets in the way sometimes, but please do your best to minimise disruption to your fellow yogis. We reserve the right to refuse entry to those who turn up late and studio doors may be locked at the start of class.

Class times

Class times may vary from time to time.  Temple of Yoga reserves the right to change class times or cancel classes at its discretion, giving reasonable notice of such changes where practicable.

Our valuable clients

We greatly value our clients, and we implement a zero-harassment policy towards them. We reserve the right to deny entry to classes and/or to terminate agreements with anyone who, at our discretion, presents a threat to the ongoing safety and/or contentment of one or more of our valued clients.

Booking

We ask our valued clients to book their classes online via our preferred booking system (currently, BookWhen). We do not accept cash payments at the studio. For more on how your payment information is stored and processed, please consult our privacy policy.
